What Has Hell Walk Done?
For the first Hell Walk, I chose a charity whose mission was global. Today,
Children’s Hope Chest still works in orphanages all around the developing world, focusing on Africa, Russia and Central America.
For Hell Walk 2, I wanted to work with a charity that worked here at home. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation continues to do amazing work by creating scholarships for children whose Special Forces parents were killed in the line of duty.
What Is Hell Walk Going To Do?
For Hell Walk 3, I’ve chosen a charity that is even closer to home. For over twenty years,
Project Angel Food has been providing meals to people who cannot leave their homes due to catastrophic illness. In that time, they have served over eight million meals to men, women and children suffering from diseases such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.
While I considered many charities for Hell Walk 3, the one that resonated most with me was Project Angel Food, primarily because of its immediacy and simplicity. This year, I will not only be raising money for Project Angel Food, I’ll also be volunteering for them.
After I’ve finished Hell Walk 3 as the last person standing, I can’t wait to give this amazing charity a huge check. I hope you’ll join me and consider donating to Hell Walk 3 today.
